How to ship two AI listing videos a week without filming

A practical workflow for cloning your voice once and producing weekly listing content forever. No tripod. No editor. No drama.

Most agents know they should be making listing videos. Almost none of them actually do. Why? Because the workflow is brutal: schedule a film day, find a tripod, record three takes, fight your phone's autofocus, edit, caption, export, post. By the time you're done, the listing has been on Zillow for a week.

There's a better way. Clone your voice once. Let AI handle the rest. Here's the exact workflow we use to ship two listing videos a week, on autopilot.

The setup: a 60-second sample

Voice cloning has become startlingly good. We use ElevenLabs because the output is indistinguishable from a real recording at conversational pace. The setup is simple:

  • Find a quiet room (your closet works great — clothes absorb echo)
  • Record yourself reading a 60-second script we provide
  • Use your phone's native voice memo app — fancy mic not required
  • Send us the file

That's it. Within 24 hours, the AI has a model of your voice. Now anything we type, your voice can say.

The pipeline: listing in, video out

Here's where it gets fun. When a new listing hits your MLS, our system catches it and runs through this pipeline:

  1. Pull the data. Address, beds, baths, square footage, lot size, key features, price, photos.
  2. Write the script. AI drafts a 30–45 second narration. Tight, conversational, no real-estate clichés (no “dream home,” no “modern luxury”).
  3. Render the voice. The script becomes audio in your cloned voice. Pacing is calibrated for social.
  4. Compose the video. Listing photos auto-cropped vertical. Cuts on the beat. Captions burned in for sound-off viewing.
  5. Schedule the post. Drops into the social calendar for the next publish slot.

Total elapsed time from listing-active to video-posted: usually under 2 hours. Compare to filming: 1–2 weeks if it ever happens.

The cadence: what runs and when

Two videos a week sounds modest, but it adds up to 100+ pieces of personalized content per year. Here's how we space them:

  • Tuesday morning — Just-listed video for the week's freshest listing. Goes to FB, IG Reels, YouTube Shorts.
  • Thursday evening — Either a market update (when there's data worth talking about) or an open-house promo (when one is on the calendar).
  • Sold reels — Triggered automatically when a listing closes. Goes out within 24 hours of the closing.

The pitfalls (and how to avoid them)

Don't let scripts read like brochures

The biggest mistake agents make with AI-generated content is letting it sound corporate. We bias scripts toward conversational. Sentence fragments. Real numbers. One observation per video, not a feature list.

“Just listed at 1247 Maple. 4 bed, 3 bath, pool. Asking $625K. Open house Saturday at 11.” That's a complete script. 14 seconds of audio. It works.

Disclose AI generation

Our videos carry a small “AI generated” indicator. Industry guidance is moving toward disclosure as standard. Beat the regulation by doing it now — and you'll find your audience appreciates the transparency.

Re-record the voice sample once a year

Voices change. Tone evolves. The AI learns from a snapshot. Plan to re-record your voice sample annually — or any time you want a new vibe (more energy, more calm, etc.).

What it takes to start

If you're running on List Lingo, this is included on the Accelerator and Rainmaker tiers. Onboarding includes the voice recording session and we have your videos running quickly after onboarding.

If you're not, the build-it-yourself version requires: an ElevenLabs subscription, a video composition pipeline (Remotion or similar), an MLS feed integration, and a social scheduler with API access. Reasonable for a developer to build, but you'll be in maintenance mode forever.

Most agents would rather just push leads through their funnel and stay out of the plumbing. Either way: stop filming. Start shipping.
